Serene Seasons is a Minecraft mod that adds seasons. Grass and foliage colors will change throughout the year, and in the winter, temperatures will shift and allow for snow to fall in some biomes that don't normally receive any.

There are technically 12 seasons in Serene Seasons, with each of the 4 seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter) having an Early, Mid, and Late sub-season. Each sub-season lasts for 8 in-game days by default, so a full year lasts for 96 in-game days.

How often do seasons change in serene seasons?

It is split up into 3 sub-seasons: Early Summer, Mid Summer, and Late Summer. Each sub-season lasts 5 in-game days by default (This can be changed in the configuration settings). In Summer, the grass and foliage mellows out to a yellow-ish green tint. Thunderstorms are also more common in summer.
