Storage and Shelf Life
Warm the prepreg to room temperature before opening the bag to avoid excessive condensation. The prepreg can be stored at room temperature for up to 6 months, but some reduction in tack may occur. Shelf life is 1 year if stored ≤ 40°F.
How should CF epoxy prepregs be stored?
The prepreg should be contained in a moisture impermeable wrapping (preferably also airtight) prior to freezing.
How do you store composites?
Although dental manufacturers recommend that composites be stored at room temperature10, all of the variables that include storage temperature and transportation conditions are not under control. The effect of these variables over the composite clinical performance can be minimized if properly considered.
