How Apostille Is Done?

An apostille is issued by your Secretary of State's office or Notary commissioning agency. The single apostille is the only certification needed. Once prepared and verified, the apostille is attached to and sent along with the notarized documents. Notaries cannot issue apostilles themselves.

Is apostille done on original documents?

Apostille is done on the reverse side of the original document by affixing a unique sticker with unique number. The applicants need to submit the following documents/fees as approved by MEA w.e.f. 01/01/2019.

Can apostille be done online?

Any type of document viz personal, educational or commercial can be authenticated/apostilled using e-Sanad. The document should be available in the digital repository for getting attestation/apostille through e-Sanad.
