How accurate is the Avise test?
The Avise Lupus test had excellent performance characteristics, as compared to the physician's diagnosis, with sensitivity of 83.3%, specificity of 86.4%, positive predictive value of 87.0%, and negative predictive value of 82.6% (positive likelihood ratio: 6.125 and negative likelihood ratio: 0.19).
How accurate is the Avise CTD test?
High levels of EC4d, B-cell-bound C4d (BC4d) and platelet-bound C4d (PC4d) can differentiate SLE from other CTDs with 56%–72% sensitivity and 80%–98% specificity, and from healthy individuals with 60%–81% sensitivity and 91%–100% specificity.
