It's never been a secret that Manifest showrunner Jeff Rake's plan was for the show to stretch out to six seasons. However, NBC cancelling the show after the season 3 finale made it appear that not only was Manifest ending three seasons short of Rake's goal, but it was never going to get a proper conclusion.

Is season 3 of Manifest the last?

Manifest will live on. After weeks of negotiations, Netflix has closed a deal for a super-sized fourth and final season of the missing plane drama, which will be available exclusively on the streamer worldwide.

What is the ending to Manifest?

After touching the tailfin at Eureka, Cal vanished into thin air. Ben and Saanvi believed returning the tailfin to the ocean would bring him back, but the tailfin merely disappears underwater. While Ben and Saanvi aren't yet privy to Cal's return, he does mysteriously come back to the Stone house at the episode's end.
