Click Virus & threat protection, then click Virus & threat protection settings. Disable Windows Defender's real-time scanning by clicking the on/off toggle. Also disable Windows Defender's cloud-based protection by clicking the on/off toggle below the Cloud-delivered protection heading, then clicking Yes when prompted.
