When Did Gurnards Head Open?

THE VIBE. The Eat Sleep Drink team opened The Gurnard's Head way back in 2006 and want their pubs to be local institutions. You're as likely to find locals propping up the bar as you are to find visitors and being on the coast path, walkers are welcomed, as are dogs.

Who owns Gurnards head?

Almost entirely owned by the National Trust, the headland is within the Aire Point to Carrick Du SSSI, and the 630 miles (1,010 km) South West Coast Path crosses the southern part of the headland.

Is the Gurnards head dog friendly?

We welcome dogs as much as their owners and are happy for them to sleep in the bedrooms, although would prefer that they don't share our beds with their owners. We have good tables downstairs where they can sit with you while you eat.
