As far as i know the Xbox One (S) doesn't have Bluetooth. The new controllers having Bluetooth tech is for connecting to a PC. There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself. The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF.
How do you connect Bluetooth to Xbox One S?
- Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth.
- Select the controller and then select Remove device.
- Press the Pair button on your controller.
- Select the controller and then select Pair.
How do I know if my Xbox One has Bluetooth?
To determine whether you have a Bluetooth or non-Bluetooth Xbox controller, you need to look at the plastic surrounding the Guide button. If it's the same plastic as the face of the controller, without any seams, you have a Bluetooth gamepad.
