What Is Bigonial Width?

Bigonial width is a measure of jaw width from gonion to gonion (the apex of the mandible and lower jaw). Men tend to have larger bigonial widths while women have smaller ones.

What is Bigonial distance?

The distance between the two gonia. The gonion is the anthropometric point at the most inferior, posterior, and lateral points on the angle of the mandible. See also: diameter.
