Where Is Feherty Going?

Feherty said he learned in the spring that his show was ending—not long after golf's COVID-19 shutdown and just weeks after Golf Channel informed staff that it intended to move its operations from Orlando to Stamford, Conn., where headquarters for NBC Sports Group is located.

Why is Feherty ending?

According to Feherty, he was told in the spring that Feherty wouldn't be renewed, most likely due to production difficulties and Golf Channel's move from Orlando to Stamford, Connecticut to be closer to NBC Sports Group's operation.

Is the Golf Channel moving to Connecticut?

(January 31, 2021) - Golf Channel, the only network devoted entirely to our sport, has officially become a Connecticut operation, moving this year to NBCUniversal's Stamford studio. Golf Channel is part of NBC Sports. On January 4, the channel launched Golf Today from the Stamford studio, its new anchor in-studio show.
