So, in conclusion, I'd say that the chronology is most probably something like this:
- Darksiders II flashbacks - The Annihilation of the Nephilim.
- Darksiders Genesis.
- [Undefined time jump]
- Darksiders The Abomination Vault.
- [HUGE time jump]
- Darksiders II time travel - meeting Samael and Lilith.
What order should I play Darksiders?
Contents
- 1.1 Darksiders (2010)
- 1.2 Darksiders II (2012)
- 1.3 Darksiders III (2018)
- 1.4 Darksiders Genesis (2019)
Should you play Darksiders in order?
Don't worry if you haven't played the previous Darksiders games. You don't need to play the two previous games to understand the third installment. The game opens with a cut-scene that explains the events from the previous two games. The game will also provide you with more information later in the game.
