TNT can be activated by any of the following methods:
- Using a Flint and Steel or a Fire Charge.
- A powered Redstone current.
- Being shot with a Flame-enchanted arrow.
- Being shot with an arrow shot through lava or fire.
- Being in the blast radius or a nearby explosion.
- Being summoned, though it will detonate immediately.
Can you explode TNT?
TNT will not spontaneously explode, and in fact can be treated quite roughly. In order to initiate the explosion, TNT must first be detonated using a pressure wave from another, more easily induced explosion from another explosive called a detonator.
How do you change the TNT explosion power in Minecraft?
TNT's power cannot be changed in vanilla Minecraft. When TNT explodes the explosion damage will not stack with the explosion damage of other explosives exploding at the same time.
