Serve Prosecco chilled as you would Champagne (with Prosecco, right out of the refrigerator is just fine … with Champagne you want to let the bottle sit for a bit and not serve it too cold).

But according to winemaker Marie-Christine Osselin, we shouldn't be storing prosecco, or other similar drinks like champagne, in the fridge at all. Instead, we should only keep the bottles in the fridge for a maximum of four days before drinking as otherwise, it will affect the taste of the tipple.

Prosecco should be serve chilled between 6 and 8 degrees. In order to get it to this temperature it can be place in an ice bucket half filled with ice and water or it can be put in the refrigerator for some hours before serving it.
