Can a Wellhead Be Moved?

Can a Wellhead Be Moved?

No, there is no legal method to relocate that well head, that I know of. Usually once the well is capped, it is only allowed to open the cap for servicing. (In some areas only liscensed people are allowed to unseal a well.) Move the RV pad over or put up some concrete filled pipes that you will hit first.

How much does it cost to move a well?

The average cost to drill a well ranges from $15 to $60 per foot, although $15 to $30 per foot is a good guideline for most projects. You should expect to pay more when digging in remote areas or into difficult terrain (rocky, sloped, or dry, low-quality soil)—approximately $50 to $60 per foot.

Can you move a well line?

Typically, you should be able to reroute the line around the pool and then rejoin back to the original before it enters the house. Don't forget that the electrical wire will also have to be rerouted.
