What are considered virtues?
"Virtues" are attitudes, dispositions, or character traits that enable us to be and to act in ways that develop this potential. They enable us to pursue the ideals we have adopted. Honesty, courage, compassion, generosity, fidelity, integrity, fairness, self-control, and prudence are all examples of virtues.
Is fairness a value?
Yet, Fairness is one of the common values claimed by all types of organizations, which I define this way: Fairness: ability to make judgments free from discrimination or dishonesty. Note that Fairness has nothing to do with equality, or making people happy, or even achieving what everyone believes is right.
