TeamLab Borderless is jointly operated by Mori Building Co., Ltd and TeamLab. It opened on 21 June 2018 in Tokyo, Japan. TeamLab's exhibition Massless was the opening project of the Amos Rex Museum in Helsinki, Finland in 2018. The second digital museum was opened in Shanghai on November 5, 2019.

Why was teamLab Borderless created?

teamLab believes that there is a borderless, continuous relationship between us and the world. That's why we wanted to create a world where various concepts and artworks existed in continuity with no boundaries, where visitors could wander, explore, and discover; perceiving the continuity of the world.
