Winter. Moonwatcher is one of Winter's closest friends, and Winter is in love with her. Moonwatcher once stated that she would never be Winter's enemy, no matter what he said. She wanted Winter to come with her to solve the Jade Mountain Prophecy, and her face crumbled into disappointment when he refused.

Winter sometimes looks at Qibli as though he will never understand him, but he genuinely likes Qibli, and considers him a best friend.

Kinkajou considers Winter to be her friend, though Winter originally did not appear to acknowledge her existence. Throughout Moon Rising, Kinkajou was shown to admire his "sparkly scales" as noted by Moon; however, he does not seem to notice.
