Chedoke Falls is 15.5 metre urban ribbon waterfall found atop the Niagara Escarpment in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The watercourse is the Chedoke Creek, an urban creek that runs through the west end of Hamilton and crosses the Bruce Trail and the Radial Trail.
How do you get to the bottom of chedoke Falls?
Turn left onto Beddoe Dr. and follow to Chedoke Civic Golf Course. At the eastern end of the parking lot, follow the Chedoke Radial Trail / Bruce Trail until you reach a ravine. Ascend stairs to first landing, then follow Bruce Trail eastward to side trail & stairs to the waterfall.
Is chedoke falls safe to swim in?
Do not swim in Chedoke Creek (or any of the waterfalls or creeks in the Chedoke or Red Hill Creek watersheds). The water is very polluted with sewage coming from above the escarpment. The E. coli numbers are many times over what is considered safe for recreational use.
