Fleas can't survive in a dryer. To kill fleas on garments and bedding, it's recommended to launder the items for ten minutes at 140°F, and then dry at the highest heat setting. Multiple factors will prevent survival, even if the heat somehow doesn't kill the fleas.
Will fleas die in the dryer alone?
Exposure to heat and soap can kill fleas in all stages of their life cycle, so a dryer cycle alone will likely be inadequate to eliminate your flea population.
Do flea eggs die in the dryer?
The high temperatures inside the dryer are enough to kill fleas on bedding, clothes, stuffed animals, and other cloth or fabric items. When set on the highest temperature setting, dryers can even kill flea eggs before they hatch.
