JobKeeper Payment was a subsidy to help small businesses affected by COVID-19. The ATO paid JobKeeper Payment to eligible employers. It stopped on 28 March 2021 and is no longer available. If you need financial support, you may be able to get an income support payment from us.

What date does JobKeeper finish?

The scheme officially ends this Sunday, March 28. You may remember that when it was introduced last March it was supposed to be a six-month program and wrap up at the end of September 2020.

Is JobKeeper extended after March 2021?

The JobKeeper scheme has been extended from 28 September 2020 until 28 March 2021. There are two separate extension periods. For each extension period, an additional actual decline in turnover test applies and the rate of the JobKeeper payment is different.
