When Was Smiler Built?

The Smiler is a steel roller coaster located at Alton Towers in Staffordshire, United Kingdom. Manufactured by Gerstlauer, it opened in 2013 as the world's first Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster. It is located in the X-Sector area of the park.

How long did it take to build Smiler?

The frame took more than eight months to build and suffered delays because of poor weather during construction. The Smiler is the equivalent of 10 football pitches of ride track and dominates the X-sector area of the Staffordshire theme park.

Do they spray laughing gas on the smiler?

Please note that due to health and safety, laughing gas is not used and instead it is just water vapor. Also, since the Smiler was opened the use of laughing gas for recreational purposes has become illegal. Smiler on one of its many inversions.
