- go to prismatic recaster for umbral focusing.
- next go to vendor subscreen.
- if you have umbral engrams, focus them.
- after that go to the station that decrypts umbral engram.
- and you are done.
Why can't i decode my umbral Engram?
Cannot open umbral engram
You can't just walk up to the machine and start decrypting, sadly. You'll first have to complete the In the Face of Darkness quest, which means following the new story line. After you talk to the Drifter and he mentions the Decoder, you'll be able to use it.
How do you decode Umbral Engrams 2021?
To open Umbral Engrams, head to the Umbral Decoder and interact with it to view the available Umbral Engrams that you have. Select the Umbral Engrams you wish to open (this includes normal Umbral Engrams and those that have been modified) to receive the gear.
