Are all cribbage boards the same size?
Standard cribbage holes are 1/8" in diameter. All of our boards except the King and Giant boards come with 1/8" holes. Our King and Giant boards come with 3/16" holes and oversized 2" tall pegs.
Why are there different cribbage boards?
The game of cribbage used to be played to 61, that is 60 holes plus a jump into the finish hole for 61. ... For a casual game, that's usually OK, but in a competition it can be a disaster. Hence the use of tournament boards or "continuous" boards that have no laps to keep track of.
