Shelf Stable Falernum (about 500ml)
Give it a good shake now and then in the first few days and after that just before use. If you've done this right it should keep for a minimum of 6 months.
How long can you keep falernum?
Once cool, add the lime zest and stir. Pour the contents back into the cleaned glass jar, seal and refrigerate overnight or for at least 8 hours. fresh bottles, cap and refrigerate. Will keep for up to 2 weeks.
Do I need to refrigerate falernum?
You should really refrigerate it to be safe. It can get moldy.
