Airflow is a platform to programmatically author, schedule and monitor workflows. Use airflow to author workflows as directed acyclic graphs (DAGs) of tasks. The airflow scheduler executes your tasks on an array of workers while following the specified dependencies.
What is Airflow and how does it work?

Airflow is a WMS that defines tasks and and their dependencies as code, executes those tasks on a regular schedule, and distributes task execution across worker processes.
What can I do with Airflow?
Apache Airflow is an open-source tool to programmatically author, schedule, and monitor workflows. It is one of the most robust platforms used by Data Engineers for orchestrating workflows or pipelines. You can easily visualize your data pipelines' dependencies, progress, logs, code, trigger tasks, and success status.
