Free lockout service is one benefit of AAA membership. You can also call a locksmith directly—some will take on car lockouts—but of course you'll have to pay out of pocket for their services.

Does AAA unlock your house?

As a member with Premier, if you become locked out of your primary residence, you can be reimbursed up to $100 in locksmith services to gain access to your home from the outside. Home lock-out service is reserved for your primary residence only and excludes all other buildings or locked areas.

What is AAA lockout service?

AAA Premier Members who lock themselves out of their homes can breathe a sigh of relief: AAA will reimburse you for up to $100 of the locksmith's fee. Once you're safely back inside, download a lockout reimbursement form from and send it to us with a receipt.
