Sometimes called the “eleven” lines, glabellar lines are vertical creases that develop between your eyebrows as a result of frowning, scowling, or other repetitive facial expressions.
Where on the face is the glabella?
Glabellar lines or glabella lines appear in the glabella, the skin over your forehead, between and above the eyebrows and right above the nose. When you wrinkle your face by talking, yawning, laughing, or making expressions, the glabella is the skin most affected by the muscle activity beneath the surface.
Are glabellar lines attractive?
The glabella lines also make the upper face look heavy as the muscles to the sides of the lines bunch up instead of looking refined, open and relaxed. The peri-orbital area is the first place people look as they look at your eyes, an open relaxed appearance is attractive.
