You can get a Burner number for Tinder (or whichever dating app you're using). And, if things go well, you can keep the Burner number as a great way to interact with semi-strangers and others in your personal and professional life who don't need access to your real phone number.

Can burner app be traced back to you?

In short, when you're using the Burner app, your phone isn't traceable back to your primary number. If someone is looking to see who you called on December 10th, 2018, and you used the Burner app, they won't be able to identify who you called because the number on the phone log will be your Burner number.

Can I use a prepaid phone for Tinder?

If you have a friend who isn't already on Tinder or doesn't plan on creating an account on this platform, ask them to share their phone number. Alternatively, you can get a burner phone and use the prepaid SIM card for registering an account on Tinder and other social media apps.
