That's what it boiled down to, really -- Coloradans resented Texans because we viewed them as interlopers, folks with too much money who encroached on our beautiful mountains, even though those Texas dollars were great for the economy.

The summers are mild with little humidity and there are several pleasant days throughout the entire year including winter and early spring. Much more even and cooler temperatures are sending many from Texas to Colorado.
