Requires repeat dosing. Should not be used in conjunction with piperazine. Fenbendazole (Panacur®) – effective against roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, some tapeworms (Taenia) and Giardia. Must be given for at least 3 consecutive days in order to effectively treat whipworms, and 5 days for Giardia.

Does Panacur need to be repeated?

Lots of differing durations between dosages. You basically administer 3 rounds of Panacur, such that you catch the next cycle of hatched parasite eggs. The most pervasive opinion I've found says once every 14 days .. repeated 3 times.

How often can you repeat Panacur?

Give this medication as directed by your veterinarian. Fenbendazole is often given once daily for 3 consecutive days and then again in another round 2-3 weeks later.
