Skelly is a Bloodless "employed" by the House of Hades as a training dummy. While Skelly claims to be on the House's payroll, he refuses to reveal who hired him and is similarly unwilling to discuss his past, instead preferring to play various pranks on Zagreus

Zagreus
Zagreus, Prince of the Underworld, is the son of Hades and is the protagonist of the game. Zagreus has always had a sense that he doesn't belong in the House of Hades. Who hired Skelly Reddit?

Skelly is Skelly, our favorite skeleton pal. TL;DR The coin in the mouth and the fact that he doesn't help with the Charon fight proves it's Charon who hired him.

What happened Skelly Hades?

When you have this Aspect unlocked, you will be able to finally “kill” Skelly and free him from his contract. This will also complete the Eternal Rest prophecy. Plus, he will still be alive for you to give him Ambrosia to completely max out his relationship at 9 hearts.
