For one of the largest car makers in the world Toyota have produced relatively few convertible cars. Those of note include the Toyota Celica Convertible, the Toyota Camry Solara and the third generation of the MR2.
What Toyotas come in a convertible?
Used Toyota Convertibles
- Toyota Celica. 1992 - 1999.
- Toyota MR2. 2000 - 2005.
- Toyota Paseo. 1997.
- Toyota Solara. 2000 - 2008.
Why did Toyota stop making convertibles?
Due to poor sales in the midsize convertible market, Toyota won't be restarting production of its Camry Solara Convertible, which was last built in December 2008. The car will still be available in showrooms for at least the next two years, however, as Toyota has enough inventory on hand to last until that time.
