Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson (born June 27, 1997), known professionally as H.E.R. (pronounced "her", an acronym for "Having Everything Revealed"), is an American singer and songwriter.

What does her stand for?

H.E.R.'s real name is Gabriella Wilson.

Born Gabriella Wilson, she goes by Gabi or her stage name, H.E.R. An acronym that stands for Having Everything Revealed, it's an ironic moniker for someone who would rather remain unknown.

Why did she hide face?

Just as she was secretive about her identity with the simple moniker H.E.R., the California native also likes that the shades give her anonymity. While she's not the first musician to obscure her face, it's not about stage fright or shyness so much as wanting her music to be the focus.
