If you're using gas in your ooni, you may find that you don't need to clean it much at all. There shouldn't be any soot build up so the main thing that you will need to keep clean is the pizza stone.

Do I need to clean OONI pizza stone?

Many Ooni owners prefer not to clean their Stone and allow the high Ooni temperatures to burn off any excess food. If you need to you can scrape off any excess with a spatula or your Ooni Peel.

How do I clean my OONI pizza stone?

Use a pizza brush to remove the stuck debris off the stone. Place your pizza stone dirty side up into the pizza oven and heat up the oven with full flame. The flame will burn off the debris closest to it. When the stone has cooled, rotate it until all the debris closest to the flame has burned off.
