Currently, there is no cure for nearsightedness. But there are proven methods that can be prescribed by an eye doctor to slow the progression of myopia during childhood. These myopia control methods include specially designed myopia control glasses, contact lenses and atropine eye drops.
Can shortsightedness be cured naturally?
Well, unlike a virus or an infection, myopia is caused by the shape of your eyeballs, so unfortunately it can't be 'cured' using medicine, exercises, massage or herbal remedies. That's not to say there's nothing that can be done to restore your vision.
Can shortsightedness be reversed?
Currently, there are no treatments that can permanently reverse short sightedness (myopia).
