Open the Camera app from the Home Screen, Control Center, or Lock Screen. Select the rear facing camera. Hold your device so that the QR code appears in the viewfinder in the Camera app. Your device recognizes the QR code and shows a notification.
Where do I find the QR code on my iPhone?
Open the Code Scanner from Control Center
- Go to Settings > Control Center, then tap. next to Code Scanner.
- Open Control Center, tap the Code Scanner, then position iPhone so that the code appears on the screen.
- To add more light, tap the flashlight to turn it on.
Are QR codes stored on iPhone?
The Apple Camera App does not keep records of scanned QR codes. If using a 3rd party app, it depends on the app whether scanned codes are saved or not.
