Melissa Delaney was an exceptional nurse who dedicated nearly two decades of her life to serving patients at Cumberland Infirmary’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Melissa excelled in terms of commitment, compassion, professionalism – qualities which unfortunately ended tragically when Melissa perished in a road traffic accident last June. Melissa rose through the ranks from joining ICU nurse in 2006 all the way through becoming Sister 2021 which speaks volumes of hard work dedication earned respect by all around her.
